August 15 -- (Reading) – Heidi Williamson has been named Director, Communications at Berks County Community Foundation. In this position, Williamson will work to raise community awareness about the foundation and the ways in which planned giving and philanthropy can have lasting positive impact on the quality of life of the residents of Berks County, Pa.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Williamson served as manager of global communications at Exide Corporation. She is a graduate of Kutztown University of Pennsylvania and a resident of Fleetwood, Pa.
