THE COMMUNITY GENERAL HOSPITAL HEALTHCARE FUND GRANT PROGRAM
Purpose: This fund was established by the Community General Hospital Foundation to support a nonprofit hospital in Reading, educational activities related to rendering care to the sick and injured or to the promotion of health; scientific research related to the care of the sick in conjunction with a hospital operating in the City of Reading; and to promote the general health of the Berks County community.
In the past, grants provided funding for local childhood obesity programs, a countywide health needs assessment, a dental clinic, and a medical clinic.
All applications must include a completed cover sheet and application. All applications must be received or postmarked by September 29, 2008.
