How to Apply for Grants

Berks County Community Foundation grants are investments in our community.

Eligibility
Tax-exempt or public benefit organizations, individuals, associations and private or public agencies are eligible to apply. The grant must be used for charitable purposes only. Organizations are eligible to apply to more than one grant program in the same year.

Applying for a Grant
The Community Foundation manages more than 300 charitable funds for a variety of causes in Berks County. Many of those funds are earmarked to help specific public benefit organizations. We also administer scholarship funds. Other funds are more broad-reaching and address critical needs in the community. You can review our complete list of funds for more details.

If you believe you have a program or need that may be eligible for grant funding from one of the Community Foundation's funds, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it vice president for grantmaking, at 610-685-2223.
